Rhythm & Resonance
Artists and wellbeing specialists, Kevin and Mayuri have a joint exhibition, Rhythm and Resonance, in The Book & Cup Cafe, Malvern Library; starting 31st Jan through to 27th Feb.
Kevin's work is abstract and conceptual, drawing from life's myriad of experiences to create pieces full of narrative and complexity.
Mayuri's work draws on her Indian heritage, using the graphical lines from mehndhi and saree patterns in hand drawn or relief printed works, exploring nature, ritual and peace in chaos.
Rhythm & Resonance is a celebration, of over 20+ years of creativity in its many forms, including poetry, prints and paintings, with both older and newer pieces exhibited.
Nearby the venue is the awesome Priory Park, so this half term, take a visit to the cafe for the exhibition, to explore the books in the library and have a run around in the park; a lovely day out for the kids and you!
Just a note that the cafe is open for service Mon - Thurs only, but the exhibition is still open and aligns to the library times.
